... sorry to post in English, my spanish is just not good enough to try to blag this one.

Anyway, I have posted a few pics of my Igneos and present them here for your pleasure (or not).

Basically I just don't like the official mini (apology to the sculptor, I just don't hehe), and besides I hate repeats. So I decided to produce a pair of unique and original miniatures.

All the parts except some of the bow and arrow parts are from SphereWars. The back sacks are just the original 'demontres' axe, they just happen to work really well for that :-)

Anyway, right now it's only glued up together and I will have to pin the bow together at some point (really looking forward to that one as you can imagine) and I will add silver wire (about 100 microns or so) once they are painted (assuming I get round to it, which would be surprising with me).

... I might also go back and rework a more realistically sized arrow although I like the idea of disproportionate projectiles.

Enjoy:

As said on the UKCORD forum, looks ace!!

I love the oversized arrow, seems just right for them.

(Sorry for posting in English in a non English board, but I don't know any Spanish other than: ¿Puedo tener yo limón con eso? Don't ask me why, I just do.)

yeah, i think it is more the length than the thickness that bothers me slightly. That said I would have to bring the forearm much more forward and shorten a tad the extended one... which is a lot of work and probably not worth it since as you said it works.

I really wish the Demontres came with alternative left arms or they make a conversion kit that can be purchased separately (Jordi, will you consider it?)... the 'finger pointing' pose is hardly generic enough to have a group of 5 so I'll have some work there too.

Anyway right now I am working on a pair of Sorreps. I started by wanting an alternate pose to split the animals onto 2 bases (I am a cheap skirt am I not) but ended up reconsidering the original which looked 'meh' next to it. I'll post pictures soon (I should be finished tonight).

Very good conversions, I like a lot how you have made the igneos from the demontres with very nice poses.
Talking about the arrow, I agree with you , the arrow´s length is the visual problem and I don´t think It would be too difficult to addapt the pose, the only problem its the right arm, that you´d remake it completely with stuff or use only the original forearm and remake the biceps and (a bit of the shoulder, maybe). I would give it a try, you have already made the most difficult task Giñar

PD sorry for muy crappy english :S

Hey guy! They look great! Very good con version: simple and clean. And don´t worry for writing in English we aren't so taliban to hate you for speaking it (we just hate you for doing so good conversions  Sonreir  Giñar). And, I'm sure that by the time you would learn spanish (if you don´t you are loosing many of the jokes we do specially about virtual beers, cutting A. Giraldez's hands and other stuff). Congratulations and paint them quick, we want see that demontres finished soon.
